China Sports Expo 2025: A grand event focusing on innovation and quality improvement in the sports industry


From May 22nd to 25th, 2025, the 42nd China International Sports Goods Fair grandly opened at the Greenland International Expo Center in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province.

From May 22nd to 25th, 2025, the 42nd China International Sports Goods Fair grandly opened at the Greenland International Expo Center in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. This year's Sports Goods Expo, with the core idea of "exploring new paths for the transformation and upgrading of 'novelty' and 'quality'", has attracted the attention of the global sports goods industry.


The preparatory work for the exhibition was successfully completed through the joint efforts of all parties, presenting many highlights. The total exhibition area reached 163,700 square meters, utilizing all 14 exhibition halls of Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center. Additionally, an outdoor exhibition area with a total area of over 20,000 square meters was added. The number of participating enterprises exceeded 1,700, setting a new historical record.


This year's Sports Expo is divided into three major exhibition areas: the Fitness exhibition area, the sports consumption and Service exhibition area, and the sports venues and Equipment exhibition area. The total area of the fitness exhibition zone is 92,700 square meters, accounting for 58% of the total exhibition area, with a total of 958 participating enterprises. Among them, the commercial fitness equipment exhibition area, with the themes of "Technological Innovation Facilitating Brand Elevation" and "Comprehensive Functional Adaptation for All Groups, Promoting a New Wave of National Fitness", focuses on showcasing AI technology and intelligent products, and pays attention to hot topics such as "weight management" and posture monitoring for teenagers. The home fitness exhibition area delves deeply into the "she" power, introducing more family-friendly fitness products, showcasing innovative devices such as smart fitness mirrors and portable exercise bikes, and creating a "one-square-meter gym" scene.


The sports consumption and service exhibition area covers an area of 31,000 square meters, with 509 participating enterprises, exceeding 500 for the first time. This exhibition area, with the theme of "Advanced Sports Consumption", directly addresses the core issues in the sports consumption field and showcases a wide range of products, from emerging sports equipment such as sports bicycles and pickleballs to "customized" sports products and traditional shoes and clothing. Meanwhile, the exhibition area is equipped with interactive experience sections, allowing visitors to personally experience the charm of sports products and further promoting the prosperity of the sports consumption market.


The total area of the sports venues and equipment exhibition area is 38,000 square meters, accounting for 23% of the total exhibition area, with 331 participating enterprises. The exhibition area is themed "Looking Forward to Future Sports Spaces, New Technologies Promoting Sustainable Development", focusing on new sports venue materials, new venue operation models and other business forms, highlighting the "new modernization" characteristics of sports venues. The site will showcase low-carbon and environmentally friendly materials, energy-saving and efficient venue facilities, as well as recycling solutions, actively responding to the national call for green development.


During the exhibition, it is expected that over 50 concurrent events will be held, including theme forums, seminars, technical exchange meetings, as well as special competitions and experience activities. These activities invited renowned experts, scholars and industry leaders from home and abroad to conduct in-depth discussions and exchanges on the latest developments, technological innovations and market trends in the sports industry, providing valuable insights and strategic guidance for the development of the industry.


In addition, as of April 28th, 5,172 audiences have completed pre-registration, including 2,193 domestic audiences and 2,979 overseas and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan audiences. The organizing committee also released the "China Sports Goods Expo Overseas Buyer Incentive Program", which attracted 60 professional buyers from 43 internationally renowned sports goods purchasers to sign up. The feedback on the intended purchase amount reached 90 million US dollars, providing a good business cooperation platform for domestic and foreign sports goods enterprises.


The successful holding of the 2025 China Sports Goods Expo not only provides a platform for display and exchange for the sports goods industry, but also shoulders the historical mission of promoting the transformation and upgrading of the industry and leading its future development. It will help Chinese sports goods brands go global and inject new vitality into the development of the global sports industry.
